Local News in Brief : Politics : Garden Grove Chamber Sets Candidates’ Forum
A candidates’ forum for state legislative and congressional candidates in central Orange County will be at 7:30 tonight in Garden Grove.
The event at the city’s community center, 11300 Stanford Ave., is sponsored by the Garden Grove Chamber of Commerce.
Candidates scheduled to appear include Republican Curt Pringle and Democrat Christian F. Thierbach, opponents in the 72nd Assembly District, which covers large portions of Stanton, Westminster, Garden Grove, Anaheim and Santa Ana. Also invited to appear are candidates in the races for the 33rd state Senate District and the 38th Congressional District.
