Hilton Hotels Corp. posted a 22% gain in net income to $27.2 million for the third quarter. The Beverly Hills-based hotel and gaming company said gaming income increased 79% to $33.1 million. Overall hotel income declined 12% to $21 million, the company said, attributable to one-time adjustments adversely affecting the 1988 comparison to 1987 results.
