Jury Deadlocks on Charge of Drunk Horse-Riding

WAYNESVILLE, N.C. —
The trial of Barry Michael Treadway, 26, who was charged with drunk driving on horseback, has ended in a deadlocked jury. Assistant Dist. Atty. Art Jacobson said after the mistrial Wednesday that he believed that some jurors were troubled about applying the drunk driving law against a horseman.
