Lotus Development Corp.’s third-quarter net income fell 25% from a year ago to $14.3 million. Sales rose 15% to $116.8 million. Officials of the Cambridge, Mass.-based developer of computer applications software said earnings were affected by increased expenses to market spreadsheet products.
