LEWISTON, Ida. — Potlatch Corp. plans to spend $21.3 million to modify one of its two Lewiston paperboard machines to produce multi-ply paperboard by mid-1990.
Potlatch, already a supplier of liquid packaging board in the U.S. and Pacific Rim markets, said multi-ply paperboard will offer an alternative to producers of gable-top containers such as milk cartons and can be used in the growing number of brick-shaped packages.
