Lord Einstein O’Neill & Partners has pledged not to solicit clients of its executives’ former employer. In return, the New York Supreme Court lifted an order barring Lord Einstein from doing business with existing clients of Lord, Geller, Federico, Einstein, Inc.--creator of the well-known Charlie Chaplin and MASH character ads for International Business Machines Corp. Lord Einstein was formed in March when six top Lord Geller executives--including founder Richard Lord--resigned to protest the company’s handling by its parent, London-based WPP Group.
