Pacific Gas & Electric Co.’s third-quarter net income climbed 18% from last year to $240.6 million. Revenue was up 8% to $1.97 billion. The San Francisco utility attributed the results in part to a change in the method of recording revenue from the operation of its Diablo Canyon nuclear power plant.
