Saudi Arabia’s King Fahd has made his second good-will gesture to Iran in less than a week, ordering a halt to a media campaign attacking Tehran, the state radio said. “Let us start with the good, and we hope to get the same in return,” Fahd was quoted as telling students in the holy city of Mecca, the site of riots last year that left 402 people dead, 275 of them Iranians. Saudi Arabia cut diplomatic ties with Iran in April after charging that nation with plotting terrorism against the kingdom. But last week, the king signaled a desire for better relations.
