Stanley Friedman, the ex-Bronx Democratic boss already serving 12 years for racketeering, was convicted today of bribing a National Guard general to get a contract for a company in which Friedman was the largest stockholder.

The disgraced politician faces up to seven years in prison for his conviction on bribery and conspiracy charges by state Supreme Court Justice Maria Santagata, who heard the case without a jury. Santagata will sentence Friedman on Nov. 15 on the bribery conviction.
