The duo were recognized for outstanding achievement in movie of the week casting for “LBJ” and for outstanding achievement in dramatic episodic casting for “thirtysomething.” Other Artios winners included Joanna Merlin, dramatic feature film casting, “The Last Emperor”; Howard Feuer, comedy feature film casting, “Moonstruck,” and Kathleen Letterie and Christopher Borman, miniseries casting, “Nutcracker: Money, Madness, Murder.” Two honorary awards were also presented: independent casting consultant Milt Hamerman received the Hoyt Bowers Award for his outstanding contribution to the casting profession, and producer Fred Roos was given the society’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
