Thousands of Indonesian rock fans got mad as hell and didn’t take Mick Jagger any more on Sunday. Police in Jakarta, the nation’s capital, say at least 10,000 fans who came to Senayan Stadium to hear Jagger--but were angered by the $14.50 price of tickets--started smashing cars and beating up other arrivees as an expression of their disappointment. More than 100 people and about 30 security officers were injured in the riot, police said, and more than 60 cars were destroyed. In a spirited bit of understatement, the English-language Jakarta Post quoted a spokesman for concert promoter Bill Graham as describing the riot as an “uncomfortable situation.”
