Despite a marked slowdown in the amount of office space leased during the third quarter of 1988, the West Los Angeles office market still managed to record the region’s lowest vacancy levels, at 13%, according to a report issued by Grubb & Ellis Commercial Real Estate Services. The firm’s building-by-building study showed there was 3.9 million square feet of direct-lease space vacant at the end of the third quarter and an additional 1.1 million of sublease space available for lease.
