Rainbow Technologies Inc. of Irvine reported that net income rose 82% for the third quarter, to $272,132 from $149,215 for the corresponding quarter in 1987. Revenue increased 114%, to $1.6 million from $757,510. For the first 9 months, net income nearly doubled, to $714,349 from $361,622 for the comparable period for 1987. Revenue totaled $4.3 million, contrasted with $1.9 million for the year-ago period. “The domestic and international markets for our proprietary computer security products continue to grow.
