Wespercorp of Santa Ana reported that earnings in its first quarter ended Sept. 30 more than doubled to $21,000 from $8,000 in the same period last year. Lower sales of the company’s printer controller products produced a 12% decline in sales for the quarter, to $933,000 from $1.1 million a year ago.
