Fluorocarbon Co. has purchased two units of a Cleveland company that make gaskets and seals used in the petroleum, chemical and aircraft engine manufacturing industries. The units, acquired from Parker Hannifin Corp., will add about $3 million in sales to similar existing divisions that now account for about $7 million of Fluorocarbon’s total $245 million in sales, Fluorocarbon chairman Peter Churm said. Fluorocarbon, based in Laguna Niguel, operates 30 plants in the United States, Canada, England and Belgium. The company specializes in making plastic and rubber devices for industrial applications.
