Geneva Elects Chairman, Creates 2 New Companies

Share

Citing annual revenue and income growth of more than 40%, the Geneva Cos. in Costa Mesa has elected Arthur D. Perrone Jr. to the newly created position of vice chairman and created two new companies to help with its increasing merger, acquisition and divestiture work, said Chairman Richard M. Rodnick.

Perrone had been president of Geneva Business Services, the primary unit that serves the merger and acquisition needs of businesses with up to $100 million in sales. Filling Perrone’s old position is Conrad J. Tuerk, who was president of Geneva Business Research Corp., the business evaluation unit of the company.

Charles B. Tillson, executive vice president of Business Research, replaced Tuerk.

Promoted to the presidencies of the new Geneva companies were Peter J. Leets and Donald D. Kent. Leets heads Geneva Business Analysis, which analyzes client financial and marketing information, and Kent heads Geneva Information Services, which provides information and education services.

In addition, Philip S. Nathan was promoted to president of Geneva Corp., one of the original Geneva companies. He replaced S.E. Sanderson Jr., who resigned to pursue personal interests.

Finally, Thomas R. Timmons, a former Orange County banker, was promoted to the newly created position of president of Geneva/CAC, a company Rodnick formed earlier this year to prepare middle-market companies for future sales.
