Arizona voters favored George Bush, 59% to 41%, adding 7 electoral votes to his total.
Sen. Dennis DeConcini, a Democrat, was easily reelected with 58% of the vote. Morris K. Udall was handily returned to the House, and 4 Republicans retained their seats.
