Brazil-Argentine Ties

BUENOS AIRES —
Presidents Raul Alfonsin of Argentina and Jose Sarney of Brazil later this month will formally launch a new phase of economic cooperation between their countries, Argentine officials said Wednesday.
Sarney is to visit Buenos Aires from Nov. 28-30 to sign accords in the automobile and steel industries, on a joint gas project and on cooperation in border control.
