Sizzler Restaurants International’s second-quarter net income rose 20% from a year ago to $5.4 million. The Los Angeles-based restaurant chain said sales rose 9% to $190 million. The company noted that the average number of customers per restaurant rose 3% during the quarter and that overall sales at company-operated restaurants rose 5.6%.
