Apple Computer Inc. announced that it is raising the dividend on its common stock by 25% to 10 cents a share. The dividend for the fourth quarter of 1988 will be paid Dec. 15 to shareholders of record Nov. 28, the Cupertino-based computer maker said. Apple had 127.9 million shares of common stock outstanding for the period ended Sept. 30. The company recently reported a 49% increase in fourth-quarter revenue to nearly $1.2 billion along with a 51% rise in earnings to nearly $108 million.
