WWII Bomb Defused

LONDON —
A 500-pound World War II bomb unearthed in east London’s docks forced the overnight evacuation of several hundred residents and caused traffic jams on nearby streets before it was defused by army experts Monday. The bomb was found 20 feet underground by workers Sunday.
