Lawyers for Drexel Burnham Lambert Inc., as expected, asked the full U.S. 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals in New York to reconsider the firm’s request to disqualify a district judge presiding over the Securities and Exchange Commission’s insider trading lawsuit against Drexel. A three-judge panel of the appeals court rejected Drexel’s request earlier this month.
