Cal State Fullerton Wins in Wrestling

Cal State Fullerton won 9 of 10 matches in defeating Boise State, 27-2, Thursday in a Pac-10 wrestling match at the Showboat Sports Pavilion in Las Vegas.

Kevin Harvey defeated Danny Tennant, 10-3, in the 126-pound match and Paul Reutzel defeated Steve Utter, 8-1, in the 190-pound match to lead the Titans (1-2 overall, 1-1 in conference).

Fullerton’s only loss came in the heavyweight division when Boise State’s Pat McDade, ranked sixth in the nation, pinned 11th-ranked David Jones in 4 minutes 34 seconds.
