Livermore Will Get Factory Outlet Mall

Construction is scheduled to start in the spring on a factory outlet mall with 50 stores selling merchandise direct from factories.

The City Council gave approval to Charter Oak Development Co. to build the project.

Developer Thomas Seaman told city officials that the clothing, shoe and housewares stores will provide jobs for up to 1,000 workers.
