Fireplaces on the Sands

Peter Greenberg’s “A Room With a Fireplace” (Nov. 13) struck a familiar chord with all at the Warm Sands Villa in Palm Springs. Seven of our 26 units, much in demand throughout the year, have fireplaces. Your readers won’t have to fly to leave the state to enjoy a cozy weekend with a wood-burning fireplace when a two-hour drive locally can provide the same ambiance. Our fireplace units are $60 a night in season and $48 during off-season.
