On weekends when the networks are running...

On weekends when the networks are running football or some other sports event, why can’t the other stations offer some first-rate movies for the women? No silly movies, I mean some with plot, story and leading ladies like Ann Sheridan, Ann Sothern, Rosalind Russell, Irene Rich and Lana Turner.
