It is interesting how Levine dismisses those of us concerned with the horrible lives and deaths of animals trapped and ranched for their furs. She all but confines us to some lunatic fringe. How cynical.

However, I doubt that a few years ago you would have felt even the slightest need to patronize those opposed to the cruelty of furs. I guess that shows we’ve made some progress for the animals, doesn’t it? Nowadays it is not so easy for fashion writers to ignore the issue of animal cruelty and the tens of thousands protesting it.
