Franklin, Ontario Firm Agree to Marketing Pact

Franklin Telecommunications, a computer equipment maker in Westlake Village, said it completed a marketing and distribution agreement with Gandalf Technologies in Ontario, Canada, that could be worth $12 million over three years.

The agreement gives Gandalf exclusive marketing rights to Franklin data communications equipment in Canada, Great Britain and the Netherlands. Gandalf invested $1.5 million in Franklin in exchange for 4.4 million shares of stock, or 7.5% of the company.
