WASHINGTON — President Reagan and his wife, Nancy, will go to Bethesda Naval Hospital on Friday for their annual post-cancer surgery checkups, the White House announced today.
“Both the President and the First Lady have remained completely asymptomatic, with no clinical suggestion of recurrence,” presidential physician John Hutton said in a statement. Reagan underwent surgery for colon cancer in July, 1985. Mrs. Reagan had her left breast removed in October, 1987.
