REAL ESTATE : Santa Fe Pacific Starts Construction on New Orange/Taft Business Park

Santa Fe Pacific Realty said it has started building the $8.5-million Orange/Taft Business Park in Orange, a 7-acre site that will include five buildings totaling 130,000 square feet.
Designed by Architects Orange in Orange, two of the buildings will house retailers, and three will house factories or warehouses. The park is on a dead-end street off Taft Avenue, which the two retailing buildings will face.
Davcon Inc., Tustin, is the general contractor. Completion is scheduled for July.
The park is Santa Fe’s sixth project in Orange County over the last 2 years. The Brea-based developer said it has developed 400,000 square feet of space in those projects.
