REAL ESTATE

Compiled by Michael Flagg, Times staff writer

Copley Real Estate Advisors, Boston, and Irvine’s Muller Co. bought a 9-acre site--which includes two buildings--in the Irvine Business Complex near John Wayne Airport.

Selling for $9.6 million was Maruchan Inc., a Japanese company based in Osaka.

The two buildings--88,000 square feet and 21,000 square feet, respectively--are on Aston Street. The new owners plan a third building of 90,000 square feet--to be used for offices, research and warehousing--for early 1989.

Commercial brokers at Collins Fuller Corp.’s Newport Beach office represented both sides in the sale and will be leasing agent for the buildings.
