Afghan MIG Pilot Defects

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan —
An Afghan fighter pilot landed his Soviet-built MIG-21 plane in Pakistan on Thursday, saying that he was “surrendering myself to Pakistani authorities,” the official APP news agency said. The news agency gave no further details.
