Carolyn King has been named to the new position of vice president, securities, for Essex Corp.’s Newport Beach office. She had previously been senior vice president and national sales manager of Continental Equities Corp. Earlier, Kling was regional vice president for First Capitol Financial Corp. Essex, based in New York, markets financial products through thrift and loans and banks.
