2 Noted Methodist Leaders to Be Married

Two noted United Methodists--a bishop and a former bishop--are getting married this month.
Former Bishop James Armstrong, one-time president of the National Council of Churches, today will marry the Rev. Sue Harper, associate pastor at Burns Memorial United Methodist Church near Denver. Bishop Calvin D. McConnell of Seattle will marry Velma Duell of Salem, Ore., Dec. 17.
