Cocaine, Cash Found in Wreckage of Plane

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. —
A plane carrying 40 pounds of cocaine and $10,000 cash crashed in a field Friday during an attempt to land at Knoxville’s airport during a surprise snowstorm, killing the two people aboard, authorities said.
Rescue workers searching for survivors said they found the cocaine in the wreckage of the twin-engine Aero Commander 68.
