Hooray for Frank Zappa (“Democracy’s Pitchman,” by Joe Morgenstern, Oct. 30). “Jeezobucks,” indeed. Those fairy-tale fundamentalists defeated Dukakis, but the insidious puerility of their commercial heavenly fantasies will alienate many more millions of thoughtful Americans who find ideals of secular Republicanism attractive.

People now practicing their precious freedom from religion are the new silent moral majority. We won’t be silent long. We look forward to our say.
