Earle Bruce, who recently resigned from the Northern Iowa football coaching job, said he had not been offered the Colorado State position.

Colorado State officials, who interviewed Bruce last Wednesday, were not expected to name a new coach until mid-week.

“I can’t really say much until after (today),” Bruce said by telephone from his Cedar Falls, Iowa, home.
