American Mobile Signs With Investment Group

American Mobile Systems said it has completed a $4-million financing agreement with an investor group made up of some AMS executives and United Artists Investments of Englewood, Colo. The group paid AMS $4 million for warrants covering 727,000 shares of common stock and notes that are convertible into another 727,000 shares of common stock in 5 years. AMS is a Sherman Oaks-based operator of two-way mobile radio systems.
