Alpha Microsystems, a Santa Ana computer maker, reported that earnings for its third quarter ended Nov. 27 rose 65%, to $814,000 from $493,000 in the year-earlier period. Revenue increased 10.2%, to $13.1 million from $11.9 million. For the 9 months, Alpha Micro’s earnings increased to $2.1 million, from $780,000 a year earlier. Revenue increased 12%, to $37.9 million.
