Jury May Find This Alibi Pretty Hard to Swallow

FREEBURG, Ill. —
Fast cash turned into fast food for a man who tried to pass a bogus check at a supermarket, police said. Police Chief George Price said Roger T. Wilson put the crumpled check in his mouth and swallowed it while he was being searched by police Wednesday. Wilson and Linda Brello-Wilson were charged with misdemeanor deceptive practices.
