‘Christmas in Poland’

Share

Borkowski’s column is a confirmation of the social, economic and cultural destruction created in Poland by the Moscow regime with the consent of Western powers in Tehran (1943) and Yalta (1945). By the decisions in Tehran and Yalta and through the cooperation of the Western powers with Stalin, Poland became legally independent under the international law, but actually Poland has been totally subjugated by Moscow dictates.

Hopefully, the blatant consequences of the present tragedy of Poland will eventually shake the conscience of he Western powers and they will stop trading the freedom and sovereignty of the small nations for their own immoral expediency.

Christmas in Poland is not only the season to be jostled, as witnessed by Borkowski in 1987, but it has been a part of Polish daily life since 1945.

Poland has been trampled into poverty and destitution by the Soviet Russian colonial exploitation.

Borkowski failed in his article to acknowledge the guilt and moral bankruptcy of the Western powers.

First Lord of Admiralty Arthur J. Balfour in a formal memorandum to the War Cabinet on Nov. 13, 1916, wrote: “The solution of the Polish question which would best suit our interests would be the constitution of Poland endowed with a large measure of autonomy while remaining an integral part of the Russian empire.”

He argued against the idea of an independent Poland.

This immoral policy is still the foundation of the attitude of the great powers towards smaller nations.
