Written by John Raffo, the story is set in the post-apocalyptic future when America is ravaged by a virulent plague. The only known antidote exists in the bodily fluids of the title character (so named because of his subjugation to syringes and tests). But an organization that controls the blood supply fears the serum will destroy the group’s control of the country. So Cher and another daredevil-for-hire are employed to grab Pin Cushion in an attempt to transport him cross country to a lab where the cure can be concocted.
