A 16-year-old Palestinian youth was reported killed and five other Palestinians wounded in clashes with Israeli soldiers. The Israeli army confirmed the death of Nasser Ismail Nasser in a Gaza Strip refugee camp. Meanwhile, an army official said the military is investigating the death of an 11-year-old Palestinian whose family charges that he suffered a fatal head injury when pushed out of a military jeep Dec. 10. The official said there is no evidence the youth was ever in military custody.
