Dataproducts Corp. said Chairman Jack C. Davis has told Wall Street investor John K. Castle that directors of the Woodland Hills computer printer maker do not want to sell the company. Castle is a member of an investment group that owns 5.2% of Dataproducts’ stock and wants to buy the company. A spokesman for Castle said the group is “still carefully considering the possibility of making an offer.”
