Local News in Brief : Work Started on Medical Building

Construction has started on a $13-million medical office building at AMI South Bay Hospital in Redondo Beach.

The 3-story structure, to be completed in December, will accommodate 40 physicians in 46,000 square feet of rental space. The major tenant will be the South Bay Family Medical Group. The building will be the second medical office structure on the hospital grounds. A smaller building houses 30 physicians.
