Watson Land Co. Fetes Anniversary

Carson-based Watson Land Co. is celebrating 25 years since starting its first master-planned industrial center in that city in 1963.

William T. Huston, Watson’s chairman and chief executive officer, also was honored for 25 years of service to the company.

Since its inception, the firm has developed nearly 10 million square feet of industrial and office centers on more than 1,000 acres in the South Bay area, and for 1988, has reported 1 million square feet in leasing and sales valued at $70 million.
