Beazer PLC said its Koppers Co. subsidiary has sold its Irwindale quarry and ancillary plant and Thiem Corp. for a total of about $67 million. Beazer, the British-American home building, contracting and building materials company, said United Rock Products Corp. purchased the quarry and plant. Thiem supplies adhesives and sealants for the automotive industry and refractories and chemicals for the foundry industry. It is being purchased by National Starch and Chemical Corp. of Bridgewater, N.J.
