Mutual Fund Group Trims Share in House of Fabrics

A group led by FMR Corp. of Boston lowered its stake slightly in House of Fabrics, the Sherman Oaks chain of fabric stores, to 19.9%, a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission shows.
FMR is the parent of the Fidelity group of mutual funds in Boston. FMR and its affiliates now have 1.3 million common shares in House of Fabrics.
One Fidelity Fund, which is managed by FMR, sold 7,500 common shares between Nov. 29 and Dec. 1 for $16.13 to $16.50 per share. One Trust Account, another FMR affiliate, sold 500 shares on Nov. 29 of $16.50 apiece.
