The early information available Tuesday from Nielsen’s wheel of ratings came up a winner for the premiere of “The Pat Sajak Show.” Overnight ratings were only available for the first half-hour of the new late-night competition that began Monday, and they encompassed only seven cities where there was direct competition among the three major networks. In those, however, Sajak’s new talk show on CBS attracted 26% of the available audience, compared to 19% for “The Tonight Show” on NBC and 12% for “Nightline” on ABC.
