Ex-Secret Service Agent to Be Put on Library Panel

WASHINGTON —
President Reagan plans to appoint Jerry S. Parr, a former member of his Secret Service detail, as a member of the advisory committee of the White House Conference on Library and Information Services, the White House has announced. Parr, now the head of a security consulting firm, was the agent who pushed Reagan into his limousine after he was shot by John W. Hinckley on March 30, 1981.
